So what are etchings?

Etching is simply describing what acid does to certain metals. If given the chance it will eat into it and all we have to do is control the way it does it. There are many ways of doing this and new materials and methods are being experimented with all the time.
 
Here are a few samples although it must be pointed out that Mezzotint is NOT an etching process! As time goes on I hope to try other methods as printmaking is as vast and varied as you want to make it!
